Doogie's and Nicks Cyberbullying

Cyberbullying is like old-fashioned bullying only even more cowardly, because the bully never has to show themself. Because it's a relatively new crime, the laws are still catching up and can be sketchy at times.Willful and repeated harm inflicted through electronic media such as e-mail, instant messaging, text messages, mobile phones, pagers and defamatory Web sites. The use of electronic means to torment, threaten, harass, humiliate, embarrass or otherwise target another. There are many types of cyberbullying like cyberstalking when an individual sends messages repeatedly through the Internet or by using a mobile phone. These messages are threatening in nature, and instill fear that the stalking might move offline and become physical.Flaming involves correspondence using electronic communication methods such as chat rooms, email and instant messenger. Flaming refers to arguments that are supplemented with images to drive a point and harsh language. Exclusion occurs when an individual is singled out and excluded from a group. The group in turn then taunts the excluded person using the Internet or a mobile phone.Outing occurs when an individual shares private information using online communication methods or a mobile phone. That person is then "outed" when his private information is shared publicly either online or off.Masquerading is a sophisticated form of cyberbullying in which an individual creates a false identity and harasses another while pretending to be someone they are not. Masquerading also includes attempts to steal log-in information, then using the information in a harassing manner such as sharing it publicly. Seven states passed laws against digital harassment in 2007 a few of which made it a misdemeanor charge. But an even bigger consequence is death many teens and adults have committed suicide because they were bullied.

Prezi

Prezi is a lot different than any other program because it has non-linear presentations, where they can zoom in and out of area. Also it has a path so that you can follow something. I believe that it is much cooler than a power point.

Go-Animate Project

This was a fun project! We got to make a quick video that was fun! Goanimate is a great site very easy to use and did not have any problems with it. The only hard part for me was the zooming because it eather went to fast or too slow. But I got it after a little while.

Career Choices

1. Be be in demand!

Healthcare is the fastest growing job sector in the workforce. According to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2004, of the 30 fastest growing occupations in the entire labor market, about half are jobs in the allied health fields. Think of the job opportunities there will be.

2. Healthcare pays

According to the U. S. Department of Labor, with an associate degree, in some fields you can make as much as $80-100,000 (if you rank in the top 10% of salaries). If you go for a higher degree, you can also make a good living and do more than just pay your bills.

3. Choices, choices, choices

There are lots of different opportunities in healthcare – something for everyone. You can work in med tech, labs, or directly with patients in hospitals, homes, or clinics.

4. Get a free education

You can get your education paid for. Due to the staffing shortages in the industry, you can find employers and government scholarships to cover your educational costs.

5. You’ll feel needed

Working in healthcare make a difference in people’s lives. Caring for people and helping others lead healthy lives is satisfying and important.

6. Meet different people

Healthcare workers interact with different people everyday, including patients, doctors, medical staff. In some fields, you’ll interact with researchers, technology experts, or scientists.

7. Health care is exciting

You never know what’s going to happen, and have to stay one your toes, solve problems and make good decisions. Every day is different.

8. You can move up

There are lots of opportunities for advancement in healthcare. You can get promoted or move up to related healthcare fields that pay more. Physical therapists and paramedics make up a large part of programs for future physician assistants, a job that pays $80-100,000.

9. Variety

You can change specialties. If you’re interested in pediatrics or prosthetics, you can move into those areas when the opportunities arise.

10. You can travel far and wide!

-------------------------------------------------

These are all reason why i feel i would like to get into a career in healthcare. Because i feel that all these examples of opportunity and reasons i would like a healhcare job.

My breakfast habits are quite good a almost always have a fruit and grain. But in different countrys they eat different things that they may or may not get the same amount of nutrients i do or calories. If I didn't know what other people eat i would find it on a reputable site such as a .org

The world food program may change how you eat because WFP strives to help the hungry and malnutritioned people , with the ultimate goal in mind of eliminating the need for food aid itself. I which they help people change there eating habits to make the world better.

Should we define someone by their actions or their intentions?

I think you have to consider both.
True actions are observable, but the end result may not be as we intended.
Say I killed you in the process of giving CPR.
Crushed your chest.
I did kill you, but my intent was to provide aid.
Did I murder you or was I negligent?
Who knows?

Google Sketchup Dream Room

The dream room helped me build furniture and walls faster and more efficient. The most helpful tool would be the ruler because its hard to make congruent objects. Like to make legs of a table or armrests of the couch. After this project I see how much harder it is to make a room rather then a house and gotten better at google sketchup.

Technology Essential Learnings

The understanding of basic operations and concepts of technology systems is to have a good knowlege of basic applications like powerpoint, word, excel, ect. If you have this set of skills you will succeed with computer. Screenshot

Digital citizenship is the behavior with regard to technology use. How I use a computer wisely is by folowing the MSSD14 guidelines, maintaining my digital citizenship.

Computer productivity is the art of working efficiently with your computer by improving your interactions with it. This is done primarily by using your mouse and keyboard efficiently, but it also involves cleverly customizing your computer's interface. Like using Typing Pal is a good way to improve you typing productivity.

Communication is using technology to talk to people and keep up to date on things like the newest fad or todays news.

Problem Solving is everyday experience, and vary from extremely complex to relatively simple. But a general knowlege of computers will help you with problem solving. In approaching technical problems in the food industry it is necessary to recognize that there are often more than one answer to the problem and that not all technically correct answers are feasible. So with basic common sense you will be able to do wonders.

Dive Into Freedom

From the first moment we are revealed to the world, we are agreeing to live inside boxes, family rules, school works, work days, what not. Tie up for a better appearance. Walls put up. Held back. The boxes seem to contract more and more. But who or what laid these borders on us? What if we were just unaware and afraid of a completely new world beyond the borders? Jump up and down. Run from one end to the other with caring about nothing. You can do anything and you can be anything open your eyes and look into infinite possibilities. Cast off the fear, sprint toward the tip of the cliff and jump! You will know then the true definition of freedom....

.... is believing in your defintion of freedom, the open minds, outside the box and the open doors to life.

This i believe and feel is showing what freedom maybe and could be.

I think its a great comercial but not for a borderless LG TV, Maybe some thing for the ad council.
